Booking Terms

A 'booking' means any order for our products or services on this site that is accepted by us. Confirmation of a booking by the Client is deemed acceptance of these terms.

Payment

A deposit of £50 [non-returnable] should be sent on the day of booking. This can be in the form of cheque or by BACS [details on Price page] on the day of Booking.

The balance should be paid by cheque or cash upon arrival.

Cancellations & Refunds

To make a cancellation, you will be required to call us on 01434 344779.

Please note messages left on the answer phone do not constitute as a confirmed cancellation.

Before cancelling please remember it may be possible to change your booking, simply call and we will see what can be arranged. It is always advisable to secure private holiday insurance.

Conditions of booking

  • You must be able to enter into a legally binding contract and be over 18yrs to make a booking. 
  • We operate a no-smoking policy in all our rooms,(an outside covered area is available for smokers to use.)
  • The Cottage can accommodate dogs but the booking must be agreed to by Carole or Fred at the time of booking. The Snug operates a 'No pets/animal policy. '
  • Check-in time is 4.00pm onwards and check-out 10.00am. We would gratefully appreciate a phone call to confirm arrival time so we can ensure a warm welcome awaits you. Alternative times by arrangement are possible.
  • On the very rare occasion that we cannot deliver your booked accommodation we will endeavour to contact you as soon as possible and a full refund will be given.
  • We reserve the right to terminate your booking immediately without being liable for any refund or compensation where you engage in unacceptable behaviour causing damage, disturbance or nuisance.

We are a quiet family run establishment and our guests appreciate the tranquil environment that we have created. By placing a booking you agree to respect these conditions.
